Usually start fishing about 8am til 11 or so then the bite seems to slow. Over 100 caught consistently with us taking home 25 to 35 each time. We only keep eight inches and up and we had some beautiful slab perch this year. Also took some very nice Pike caught off smaller perch under bobbers.A fresh wave of fat pre-spawn male smallmouth bass pulled up on Lake St. Clair last week. Lots of 2.75-3.5lb fish with occasional four pounders mixed in.
