I own a Mossy 500, Mossy 835, and a Benelli Nova. The Mossy's are good guns, have always been reliable, and didn't cost me a pile of money. The Benelli is a GREAT gun, and cost me about what I paid for both the Mossy's combined. If your budget is small, go with the Mossy's, they'll do the job reliably. I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid. I do love my Nova though, the only down sides to me are the safely and action release are awkward compared to the 500 and the foregrip on the Nova feels super light weight and cheap.On the other hand, the top mounted safety was very intuitive and easy. Kicks like holy hell with 3.5 roman candles however I solved that problem with a Limbsaver recoil pad.
